Welcome to our first Digital Learning Day!
Hey students! The day has come for our first digital learning day! All information can be found below for your digital learning assignment for Monday, March 16th. If there is anything I can do moving forward in these digital learning days that will make this process easier, please let me know! My digital office hours and contact are listed below. Learning Target for Today! I can determine the differences between renewable/sustainable energy and nonrenewable resources through completing my USA test prep activity. Activity For Today Today you will be completing an assignment on your USA test prep. It is labeled Monday, March 16. It will contain two short videos that will review renewable and nonrenewable resources. After the videos you will be asked to sort items into renewable and nonrenewable and you will have a matching activity to determine different types of renewable and non renewable energy. There will be a short response question at the end of the assignment. The short answer response question should be answered using the RACES writing strategy which can be found below. R - Restate the question as a sentence/statement A - Answer the question C - Cite Evidence - You may use reputable internet resources to find your evidence. You should have 2 to 3 pieces of evidence. E - Explain your answer - Examples of how your evidence supports your answer S - Summarize or restate your main idea in different words Instructions All materials and instructions can be found within your USA test prep assignment. Make sure to check your messages tab in USA test prep throughout the day, as I will be providing feedback on assignments that you are submitting. You will be able to respond to my feedback in the USA test prep messages tab by clicking the blue envelope next to the message I send you. Digital Office Hours My digital office hours that are dedicated to answering any questions that students or teachers may have. I will be available between the hours of 10:30 - 12:00.
